Chang'an Academy
在灞河西岸，西安的文化新地标——“长安书院”，如一部徐徐展开的立体典籍，正在以高品质的公共文化服务，为市民游客带来全新的文化体验。
On the west bank of the Bahe River stands Chang'an Academy, Xi'an's new cultural landmark unfolding like a three-dimensional tome. Through its premium public cultural services, it offers visitors groundbreaking cultural experiences.
长安书院由A、B、C、D四栋相对独立但内部连通的建筑组成。其中，西安图书馆新馆位于长安书院的C栋和D栋，总藏书量达300万册，阅览座位3000个，日可接待读者1.5万人次。自2025年初开放以来，已成为西安市民吸收知识养分的新去处。
Chang'an Academy is composed of four relatively independent but internally connected buildings: Building A, Building B, Building C, and Building D. The new Xi'an Public Library is located in both Building C and D. It has a total collection of 3 million books, 3,000 reading seats, and can accommodate 15,000 readers per day. Since its opening in early 2025, it has become a new place for Xi'an citizens to gain knowledge.
西安图书馆入驻长安书院后，充分融合馆舍建筑构思，基于馆藏文献资源和特色阅读推广，打造了古籍保护区、少儿服务区、中文图书借阅区、西安文脉和多元交流空间等18个功能区，并提供了多样化的智慧场景服务，实现了全市13个区县图书馆纸质文献的通借通还，并与市域高校图书馆、科研院所图书馆实现数字资源共享。
Following its relocation to Chang'an Academy, Xi'an Public Library has integrated architectural vision with specialized collections to create 18 functional zones.Service Area For Children And Young Adults, Chinese Book Borrowing Area, Xi'an Cultural Lineage, and Multicultural Interaction Area. It also provided a variety of smart scene services, realized the borrowing and returning of paper documents from 13 district and county libraries in the city, and achieved digital resource sharing with the city's university libraries and research institutes libraries.
在长安书院D栋，有一处特别的“西安古旧书店”，其中珍藏着大量字迹清晰的古籍善本，是西北现存唯一一家百年书店。
In Building D of Chang'an Academy, there is a special "Xi'an Antiquarian Bookstore", which houses a large number of rare books with clear handwriting. It is the only century-old bookstore in Northwest China.
此外，D栋还充分发挥“阅读+”的概念，通过设置的多个文化空间，承载起文化展演、研学教育、特色文创、生活美学、VR体验等诸多功能与业态。
In addition, Building D also gives full play to the concept of "Reading Plus". Through the setting up of multiple cultural areas, it carries many functions and formats such as cultural performances, research and education, cultural and creative products, and VR experience of life aesthetics.
长安书院不局限于打造传统的阅读空间，而是致力于营造一种“阅读的大生态”，将阅读与休闲、社交、文化活动等紧密结合在了一起。
Chang'an Academy is not limited to creating traditional reading spaces, but is committed to creating a "Eco-reading area" that closely integrates reading with leisure, social interaction, and cultural activities.
作为西安唯一拥有“河景”的图书馆，这里还与奥体中心、长安云、长安乐隔灞河而立，三座地标建筑风格迥异又“动静互补”，更在功能与文化层面相互呼应，共同构建起一个充满活力与魅力的文化共同体。
As the only library in Xi'an with a "river view", it is separated from the Olympic Sports Center, Chang'an Yun and Chang'an Yue by the Bahe River. The three landmark buildings have different styles and balancing each other in motion and tranquility. They also echo each other at the functional and cultural levels, jointly building a cultural community full of vitality and charm.
